My work is a poetic-conceptual vision of the human being in relation to his own environment or surroundings. To depict these ideas I employ various icons that I place in a timeless scenario where I attempt to establish an almost reflexive dialogue with the viewer.
Jorge López Pardo was born in 1976. He received the First Prize, Salón de Arte Digital, Havana, Cuba in 2011. His works are part of the collections of Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA), Long Beach, CA, USA; Fundación de Arte del Pacífico, Buenos Aires, Argentina; Centro Nacional de Artes Plásticas, Havana, Cuba; and Fondo Cubano de Bienes Culturales, Havana, Cuba.
