In my first works I referenced the imaginary, dealing with adolescence as a wrenching transition from childhood to adulthood. They reflected concerns associated with issues such as sex, beauty, identity, fashion. In my current work I’m showing a stronger connection with the dream as a reflection of real that is placed in a scenario where reality has been metamorphosed into a paranormal fantasy. I combine iconography including people, animals and objects, a kind of theatrical stage, using bright colors.
