Rubén Alpízar's Statement

The essence of my work proposes a marked interest for the recovery of the past: to question history as well as myth, examine and fuse them with irony, with personal fantasy and present collective projections, combining Renaissance codes with Surrealism and 20th Century vanguard movements.
