Served as curator at El Museo del Barrio in New York City from 2006 to 2012, where he co-curated Caribbean: Crossroads of the World, two iterations of El Museo’s Biennial, and a retrospective of Felix Gonzalez-Torres’s early work in Puerto Rico. Elvis won the Grand Prix at the 26th Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts in 2005. Currently, Elvis is the Chief Curator of the San Juan Poly/Graphic Triennial in Puerto Rico.
